Preston Farms

Preston Farms in Preston Candover near Basingstoke, has been owned by the Sainsburys family since 1983, along with Lockerley Estate. In November 2021, Lockerley Estate and Preston Farms began to collaborate resources and work closer together.

Preston Farms is an 800ha business comprising of 600ha of arable, 45ha of grass, 60ha of countryside stewardship, 87ha of woodland, and a 7.5ha vineyard.

In 2020 Preston Farms moved to a zero tillage establishment system to minimise soil movement. Following the work at Lockerley Estate over the last 6 years, there is a significant shift to regenerative farming principles across all farmed land.
